We did a loop kind of by my house and then down by the cemetery before running to wines park and down to main street. Sean and Brock came and ran with us today so it was way nice to be able to run with them again. Average pace on the day was a 7:10/mile.
Fri, 05 Jun 2015 06:00:00 Thu, Jun 04, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-04-2015.html
We did speed changes at mile pace around the soccer field today. I thought it would be pretty easy but i was pretty winded by the end. Then ran a little over two miles to get my mileage to 6 on the day.
Thu, 04 Jun 2015 06:00:00 Wed, Jun 03, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-03-2015.html
Decided to keep the run nice and flat today, we had a fairly slow pace (7:03/mile). It was the fastest one yet in my opinion but it didn't feel like it at all. Everyone fell behind and so Ryan and I were up ahead of everyone the whole time. We kept waiting for them to catch up to us but they never did and we cruised in without speeding up.

Later in the day Emily Pertschurt invited Madi and I to go on a bike ride with her. We ended up going somewhere around like 26 miles which was a new pr on distance for me on a bike ride.
Wed, 03 Jun 2015 06:00:00 Tue, Jun 02, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-02-2015.html
Ran up past the spinny park and to the fish park. Our pace there was about 10 sec. faster than yesterday so we were all feeling it and then since it was downhill we all sped way up and ended up coming in at a 6:12 mile (it was ridiculous) but it felt good to get going fast again. Average pace was 6:58/mile.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 06:00:00 Mon, Jun 01, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-01-2015.html
I have officially decided that I am going to train with the XC team this summer, just because I can. So today was their first practice so I showed up to. We did a warm up (which I won) and I went pretty fast to catch up to the front. Then we went up in a huge group and got some miles in. Jamie is easing everyone back into it which is nice because it was a pretty tiring 5 miles. Average pace for the run was 7:26/mile.
Mon, 01 Jun 2015 06:00:00 Thu, May 28, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-28-2015.html
I got a total of 5 hours of sleep last night so I was pretty exhausted. After taking a nap like an hour after getting up, I decided just to go on a short run to wake myself up to prepare for graduation and grad night tonight. I ran up by the cemetery and then made a loop through the creek and came to a total of 3.1 miles. I felt super great and didn't stop once throughout the whole run, not even to stretch. I kept waiting for my legs to start hurting by they never did which was way nice. I found it pretty easy to breath up until the last half mile which was nice too. I took it pretty fast since it was so short and ended up with a pace of 6:20/mile. Last day as a high school student today! Pretty stoked but also going to miss it. It's going to be weird.
Thu, 28 May 2015 06:00:00 Wed, May 27, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-27-2015.html
Hiked the Y with Matt, Sean and some other people from the team. Ended up running a little throughout and then down the whole thing. Probably totaled about a mile.
Wed, 27 May 2015 06:00:00 Mon, May 25, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-25-2015.html
Woke up and decided I'd better get out and run a little bit. Decided to go 6 miles and to keep it as flat as possible. I ran down towards pioneer crossing but turned early and ran on main street to the high school, then up past the high school and through the cemetery. Wasn't feeling very good today and my throat was on fire which made it pretty hard to breath. I took a bunch of breaks and at the end just laid on my driveway for a good 5 minutes. On the bright side my legs felt great though. Average pace was a 6:50/mile.
Mon, 25 May 2015 06:00:00 Tue, May 19, 2015 http://strrt.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-19-2015.html
Been awhile since I posted on the blog so I decided to update and explain what's happened the past few weeks on my running. Region went horrible, both my races were filled with asthma attacks so we will have to see if I ever go and put those races in, I'm not planning on it. Last week I totaled about 9 miles..it was a pretty lazy week but it felt good to not have to run and to keep my legs rested. Went and watched state which was pretty sick! Shoutout to everyone who ran there especially @connorballer, he killed it.

As for my run today, I started by running through the creek and then I ran up the hill that's parallel to the one that leads to Eaglecrest. I then made a right and made a loop out by Smith's and then came on home. Not running for real in a couple weeks made the run pretty hard but I was still somehow able to hold a 6:43/mile pace through the whole thing. I had to take a few stops because I was having breathing troubles but overall am pretty happy on how it went.
Tue, 19 May 2015 06:00:00
