Percentage run today, I did 1 mile at 30 sec slower than goal mile pace, then immediately 1 mile at 1 minute slower than goal 2 mile pace, then back to 1 mile and 30 sec slower than mile pace. Then to top it off, half a mile with everything that I had left. I wasn't looking forward to it since my legs have been crap all week, but I was surprised how well they felt (still pretty bad but better than usual), my diabetes was way messed up too before I started but that didn't bother me much either. I warmed up 1.5 miles and then went straight into the workout. My splits were 5:28, 6:27, 5:33. I had an asthma attack during the workout which slowed me down a little but I just ran through it (don't know if thats the best idea) and didnt die somehow, so that was good. I then cooled down until I got 8, i was supposed to go 9 today but I forgot and only went 8. |
