What a great workout today. We were warned yesterday that we were going to have a killer workout today and it didn't fail to disappoint. We ran 90 sec. up aiport hill (local workout hill) as fast as we could. Each time up was a little more than 400 m. We had a nice slow jog going down the hill between each time running the hill. We did that in sets of 3 and then we would do a slow jog around part of the cemetery. We ended up doing a total of 3 sets. The first set I pushed it pretty hard and even won one of the sets. During the second set I tried to just cruise and was successful for the most part. Then I went all out for the last set. I finished in 3rd behind Ryan and Matt for all but one of the sets so I was happy with that. After we were done we jogged back to the high school and got our daily miles to 10. |
